Professional:

I spent the first 12 years of my career working in finance, investment, lending, and banking sales for both Wells Fargo and PNC Bank. In 2013, I got the opportunity to move to New Orleans as part of the Sales Leadership Academy training program with Humana. In 6 years as a health insurance carrier rep, I worked with over 200 agents throughout Louisiana and Mississippi to train and educate them on the full suite of Humana products. During this time, I noticed two huge areas of opportunity: 1> to engage groups and members in health and well-being programs to bend the cost curve downward, and 2> to better serve the needs of small business clients who are often overlooked by bigger insurance agencies.

In 2018, I launched Uptown Benefits as a boutique insurance and benefits consulting firm to work closely with small business clients.

Personal:

I am a dedicated ultramarathon runner, having completed over 100 races of 31 miles or longer. In my free time, I also enjoy traveling, spending time with my 14 year-old beagle, badly practicing yoga, and following University of Kentucky sports and the Cincinnati Reds.
